45KM Open Water

Fahmy Hasan Salamah, a prodigious young swimmer from Sri Lanka, has demonstrated remarkable talent and resilience by swimming across the Palk Strait. At just 15 years old, he completed the arduous 45km journey from Thalaimannar to the Indian border and back in a mere 12 hours. This feat is not only a testament to his extraordinary abilities but also an inspiration to athletes worldwide, proving that age is no barrier to achieving greatness.
